March 30, 2015Hi!
You need to find out some default settings. Since I am new guy sitting next to mac for me it was confusing that my spotlight is not showing websites when I type wiki or etc.

March 30, 2015Hi Jaanus,
I am not clear about your question. Typing “wiki” is not a command known in spotlight unless you install an extra program, which I elaborate on inside the Advanced Spotlight Plugin lesson. 🙂
Spotlight is a bit touchy when it comes to searching. Sometimes what you think will show up, does not, because spotlight is best suited for searching files, not so much the internet. So keep that in mind
By default, Spotlight will search all sorts of things. If you open system preferences > Spotlight and see what’s enabled there, you will know.
Not sure if I answered your question, but let me know if there’s anything further. 🙂

May 9, 2015hi Tharynn thank you for your lessons, I’m already a heavy Mac User, but I’ve appreciated followwing this course to learn new things and discover your way of using Yosemite.
I can’t wait for the lesson(s) on Alfred, I’m using it since about a year and i’m certain there are many more things I could learn to do with it.
Great job.

May 10, 2015Thanks for joining the Dojo! And yeah, Alfred is great. I will need to put together something special for the Dojo, because Alfred can do soooo much. I’m not sure when, because I have a few other lessons planned, but it’s in the pipeline. Keep an eye on your email.
Best,
Tharyn
